In 2000, the KPFA-FM Music Dept. Archive transferred ownership of over 4,000 analog tape reels to Other Minds. In May of 2007, OM officially launched radiOM.org, the online portal to our archive’s digital content where researchers, critics, and enthusiasts of unusual music can stream audio of most of the preserved programs. OM would like to share the development and progress of such a monumental project from the perspective of a small non-profit arts organization.
