These transfers were released on the 1985 Grammy-nominated boxed set.\u003c/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eForty years later, in 2025, the New York Public Library contracted Nick Bergh to transfer a selection of 85 of the Mapleson cylinders, using an Endpoint machine. Staff of NYPL’s PAMI, and the Music \u0026amp; Recorded Sound Division spent four days working with Bergh to transfer the cylinders, including two that had not been included on the 1985 set. The presentation covers the process taken to prepare for those four days, the workflow used, some of the highlights, and finally the post-production work required.
